after spending the last couple of days in bed recovering from a nasty case of the flu, i am leaving my cozy castle tonight to go out. after all, you need to be happy to get better, right?

colin and oisín from ireland started their photo project "quinnford + scout" a while ago.
they capture all the moments of their relationship with a camera. of course sex is part of that, but their art never gets naughty. you don't just become a voyeur of their realtionship, instead you can sense real intimacy.

the boys' turn: brodarte

the rodarte sisters finally designed something for the guys: a line of mixed-knit sweaters for opening ceremony charmingly called 'brodarte'. the collection features four pieces right now, each sweater or cardigan is hand made. i am not going to ruin the party by asking: 'how do you wash these things', alright?

american novelist dennis cooper is a sick bastard.
and in my world, that's a good thing.
gisèle vienne's production of "jerk", based on cooper's novel, is pretty intense. the solo piece with jonathan capdevielle deals with the story of a murderer in prison.
it's an imaginary reconstruction of dean corll's crimes. corll killed over twenty boys in texas during the mid-70s with the help of wayne henley and david brooks.
and it's brooks who tells us the cruel stories of the rapes and murders. in prison, he learns the art of the puppetry, which enables him to face his responsibilities as a partner in crime.
actor capdevielle brilliantly plays the puppets and david brooks at the same time and with him we're stuck on a horrifying emotional rollercoaster.
it's a dark, weird and at the same time poetic play .
you need to see this!

it was carnival in cologne today, and everybody dressed up as colorful as possible. i had to work, so i was missing out on all the fun. thus, my outfit.

please excuse the cheesy headline, i just had to go there. because my reaction when i saw the 'omne necklaces' by gemma redux was: 'i need one of those! and i need it now!' it comes with a magnet that allows you to arrange it whichever way you want. why hasn't anyone though of this before? prices start around 100 $ and if you click on the image below, there's a video that explains the whole shebang.

oh my god. that's exactly what i want.
i have never been a fan of shakira. to be honest, i am really scared and ashamed of myself for loving her song "did it again", but that video is so sensual and sexy. i can't stop watching it, because that bed play is the fulfillment of my dreams. if i meet a guy who could do that choreography with me in my bed, i'd marry him immediately.
